Dana Air to Reward Passengers with Extra Miles
Dana Air, airline based in Nigeria, announced a series of benefits to reward its customers flying on its Lagos-Accra-Lagos route. 
Dana Air Chief Commercial Officer Obi Mbanuzuo made disclosure while speaking with aviation correspondents in Lagos.
Dana Air CCO said that the offer would enable Dana Air passengers flying on the Accra route to earn 4,500 miles extra to fly for free on their next trip. 
He said that this was, however, tied to Dana Air’s frequent flyer programme, Dana Miles’. According to Obi Mbanuzuo, the reward which is equivalent to a free ticket runs throughout the month of February.
Dana Air passengers travelling on business class have chance of being upgraded to silver membership, the second highest membership level for Dana Air passengers, who are able to acquire 9,000 miles within a year. 
“All these are our own way of appreciating our loyal guests who have embraced our unique flight services on the Accra route. It is also to encourage couples to enjoy their getaway this valentine in the beautiful city of Accra. Our guests should also expect more giveaways on our social media platforms and they can also participate in our ongoing valentine contest in collaboration with Pulseng on instagram,’’ Dana Air CCO Obi Mbanuzuo said.
Dana Air recently launched daily flight services from Lagos to Accra with an introductory online fare of N22,000 (US$110) to boost leisure and business trips from Lagos to Accra. 
Dana Air fleet consists of 5 aircraft (one Boeing 737-500 and four McDonnell Douglas MD-83), with an average age of 23 years.
Dana Air’s licence was suspended following a fatal air crash in 2012, but it was cleared by Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority to resume flights in 2014.
