The AOA of the wing plays a very crucial role as it affects the amount of Lift produced by the aircraft's wings. Lift generated by the wing is significantly affected by the AOA in such a way that,an increased AOA allows more air to rush through the upper surface of the wing, which will in turn, force high pressure from the bottom of the wing.
A wing at a higher AOA produces more lift that a wing at a lower AOA. That's just how it works. When the pilot begins takeoff roll and increases speed while on the runway, the wing generates lift, but the plane then takes off as a result of an increased AOA.
We can conclude by stating that lift produced by the aircraft's wing is directly proportional to the AOA. A greater AOA means more lift.
